Full-time PR Executive

at Bigfoot Entertainment (Anywhere)

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To organize events like local movie screenings and press communications. Doing PR for all films of Bigfoot, the film school (IAFT), and other Bigfoot entities. www.bigfoot.com

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning and executing PR campaigns.
- Creating and managing content for press releases and conferences, articles and communications materials.
- Maintaining thorough knowledge of our products (existing and new) to market the most exciting stories, news and developments in the region.
- Managing Website content.
- Meets regularly with the different Departments to stay abreast of products, services, and other developments within these areas to develop communication materials and implement market development initiatives.
- Develops, researches, and writes press releases, feature articles, product news stories, and other related informational materials for business markets
- Assists in reviewing media editorial calendars to determine opportunities for placements and topics for news releases and other PR materials.
- Creates and maintains a database of media contacts, news services, news wires, etc., and other outside resources for promoting through PR.
- Performs other reasonable tasks and duties assigned by superior and/or any changes in the role due to organizational restructuring and realignment effected from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Work Experience
- At least 4 years of Public Relations
- Prior regional experience in entertainment or media industry
- Must have experience in content, strategy and boosting numbers on Social Networking sites like Facebook, My Space, Twitter, etc

Skills / Knowledge
- Ability to develop, write, edit and produce effective communication pieces, both internally and externally
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills in both English & Chinese
- Accent free, American English a plus
- A pleasant individual with a mature disposition
- Meticulous, resourceful, organized and able to work independently in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines
- Tech savvy with basic knowledge in PC troubleshooting
- Existing contracts with entertainment media in the region will be a plus
- Must have/own a laptop

Education/Certification
- Bachelor/Diploma in Mass Communications, Journalism, PR, Marketing or equivalent

IMPORTANT:
- This is a full time position
- Person must be a Singapore PR
