Solutions Consultant (Managed Services) Multiple Position

Solutions Consultant (Managed Services) Multiple Position
Position -1
You will be responsible for providing pre-sales support to the sales team and customers, gathering information, conceptualizing, designing and validating technology or architecture to ensure solutions delivered are technically sound and conform to leading edge industry standards. You will be required to do pre-sales presentations and demonstration, perform RFP analysis and proposal creation.
• At least 8 years of IT experience with
o 4 years of experience in infrastructure implementation or infrastructure outsourcing projects, and
o 2 years of experience in infrastructure consultancy position
• Have good understanding/working knowledge of all the following technology.
o Microsoft
o Networking
o Storage/SAN
o Unix/Linux
o Infrastructure Security
• Other requirements :-
o Infrastructure requirements gathering, analysis and architectural design
o Product knowledge of major infrastructure solutions and Data Centre Hosting
o Ability to write convincing technical proposals
o Excellent presentations skills
o Self motivated and ability to work overtime to rush out client proposals
• Exposure to the following areas are advantagous
o Server and Storage virtualization
o Appreciation of Mainframe environment
Position – 2
1) Must have at least 5 years of experience in the delivery of medium- and large-scale infrastructure implementation or outsourcing project.
2) Must have at least 5 years of solid hand-on experience providing administrative and troubleshooting support to one the following environment.
- Unix (Solaris, HP-UX or AIX)
- Windows NT4, Windows 2000 and 2003.
- TCP/IP Networking
3) Excellent project handling skills in terms of planning and leading a presale solutioning project comprising presale consultants from different teams.
4) Experienced and familiar with Unix servers, WinTel servers, SAN, enterprise backup, infrastructure monitoring, load balancer, firewall, IDS/IPS and high availability solution, application middleware, database, etc.
5) Excellent customer relationship management, sub-contractor management, interpersonal, presentation and proposal writing skills.
6) Experienced and familiar with the following technologies.
- Structured Cabling
- Network, e.g. Cisco
- Network Management System
- Load Balancer
- IPSEC/SSL VPN
- Firewall
- IDS/IPS
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Messaging, e.g. Exchange, Notes
- Database, e.g. Oracle
- Application Middleware, e.g. Weblogic, Websphere, etc.
- Client/server architecture, web-based tier architecture
7) Ability to work on multiple assignments and manage tight deadlines.
8) Ability to understand the different product licensing schemes and consolidate the proposal pricing and cost sheet.
9) Short-term travelling may be required.
Position-3
Solutions Consultant (SaaS)
1) At least 6 yrs of project management experience in IT projects.
2) Experience in team management
3) Experience in full scale deployment for Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory
4) Must have certification in Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory
5) Experience in evaluation and implementation of packaged solutions and assessing scope and cost between systems
6) Experience in managing mid-to-large scale IT Application System projects
7) Good project management capabilities with proven track record in assuming overall responsibility and managing mid-to-large scale projects in
1. public or commercial sectors
8) Experience in contract negotiation and management
9) Knowledge in Network essential
10) Excellent relationship management, presentation and proposal writing skills
11) Certification in CITPM or PMI preferred
12) Willing to travel as required
