Tivoli - Support Specialists

Requirements
Candidates sought - with excellent Tivoli skills to drive the development of new monitoring solutions for diverse areas across the business on the Unix platform. Financial industry experience advantageous.
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include
- Working with end-to-end monitoring designer to produce detailed design for custom monitoring for Unix applications
- Developing custom monitoring using ITM, TEC LFAs & SNMP adapters
- Functional testing of monitoring solutions and support of OAT
- Handover to support
- Change management and implementation of solutions
Essential skills
A proven track record using the following:
IBM Tivoli Monitoring 5.1.2, 6.1
IBM Tivoli Monitoring Resource Model Builder 1.1.3
TEC 3.9 logfile adapter
Tivoli Firewall Security Toolbox v 1.3.1
Perl & Shell scripting skills
Desirable skills
A good working knowledge of the following would be beneficial:
TEC 3.9 rule writing
Distributed Monitoring 3.6
TEC 3.6
HP Openview Manager of Managers
Perl coding skills
