Sun Solaris System Administrator
at Enggsol Recruitment (Anywhere)
Responsibilities:
• To manage and operate IT System / Servers operating on Sun Solaris
• To install and support Sun hardware
• To administer and support Sun Solaris and other Unix flavors such as Linux
• To assist in administering and support applications such as NFS, DNS and LDAP
• Handle support calls and resolve issues on time.
• Any other assignments as assigned from his/her supervisor.
Requirement
• Sun Solaris 9 and 10, preferably certified as SCSA and SCNA
• Working experience of minimum 2 years on Sun hardware such as hardware replacement and installation
• Working experience of minimum 3 years in administering Sun Solaris including OS installation
• Preferable with knowledge in cluster setup such as VCS and Sun Cluster
• Preferable with knowledge in VxVm and SVM (Solaris Volume Manager)
• Preferable with working knowledge in either DNS, NIS or LDAP
• Preferable with shell scripting either in Ksh or Bash
