Some Details of Employment:
1) Working hours up to 40 hours a week
2) Attractive pay package, depending on experience
3) Extra:
(i) Insurance (Professional Indemnity and Medical Insurance) upon confirmation
(ii) Profit Sharing Element (End of Financial Year) upon confirmation
Requirements:
1) A WFOT-recognized occupational therapy degree/diploma
2) Excellent command of spoken and written English. Ability to speak in local dialects is of an advantage.
3) Able to assess, diagnose and treat clients independently
4) Open to new and innovative ideas
5) A least 1 year of therapy-related work experience
You will be responsible for:
• assessing, develop and implement treatment plans to help individuals achieve optimal independence by improving and restoring skills in activities of self-care, daily living, work activities, leisure and play.
• providing functional, cognitive and perceptual assessment and training of daily activities, facilitate work rehabilitation, prescribe and train in the use of assistive technology or devices, and apply ergonomic principles to performance of occupations. You will also educate and provide training for family members and caregivers on interventions and care giving skills.
• devising treatment to help overcome patients’ lack of confidence, irrational fears, anxieties and difficulties in relationships with others for mental health setting.

Due to expanding caseloads, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. Clinical exposure will be diverse as you will be required to work in different settings and roles as our commitment calls us to serve wherever the need arises.
We are committed to professional development and offer in-service training, individual performance review and funding for courses. There will be opportunities for research.
